Challenges: JR Urbania's land parcels at Lingapura village, Anekal Taluk, Bengaluru Urban District were identified in the year 2011. Back then the lands were not easily approachable from Chandapura Anekal main road, even though the distance is less than 3 km. Karnataka Housing Board (KHB) after successfully completing it's 260 acre Suryanagar Phase-1 near Chandapura, by then had acquired & begun the development of 900+ acres of mega township Suryanagar Phase-2, which is the immediate neighbor of JR Urbania today. The 150ft wide road infrastructure to JR Urbania through KHB township was under formation in 2011. Depending on a Government township for proper road approach was always a risky scenario. In the interest of general public and to improve the connectivity from Chandapura-Anekal main road to KHB, JR Housing had to represent to several Govt. Housing Ministers and KHB officials to complete remaining land acquisition for the last mile road connectivity. Nearly after 9 years KHB is now completing the much needed last mile connectivity of 150ft wide road to Chandapura-Anekal Road. Project developement work at first phase (16 acres) of JR Urbania began in the year March 2012 and today we can proudly say that we completed the development of a beautiful township spread over sprawling 90 acres with 150ft wide main road, dotted with parks, landscaped spaces and various luxury amenities, the last addition being an Ultra Modern massive Sports Club with sport and social infrastructure, making it truly an international standard development.
